Food packages go out to families during school closure

Families packed the parking lot of Mio Ausable Schools this morning leaving no food left after just an hour.Over 1600 food packages were distributed to children 18 years old or younger. Packages consisted of seven nutritious breakfast meals and seven lunch meals.There was no cost for the packages and no pre-registration.
