FRISCO, Texas – Abilene Christian’s Lexie Ducat is the Southland Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.The senior forward led the Wildcats (5-1) to a 1-1 record on the road last week, averaging 18 points and six rebounds to go along with a pair of steals. The Brock, Texas, product shot 7-for-11 from the field against Oklahoma and was just two rebounds shy of a double-double performance against the Sooners.Women’s Basketball Player of the Week – Lexie Ducat, Abilene Christian – Sr. – Forward – Brock, TexasDucat averaged 18 points and six rebounds per game last week, pacing the Abilene Christian offense with a 65.2-percent shooting average. She opened the week with 20 points and eight rebounds against Oklahoma to mark the Wildcats’ highest individual scoring performance against a power-five school since the 2017 season. Ducat then followed up with 16 points over Portland to secure 76-69 road win for the Wildcats.
