Another former Oklahoma State player could soon be gracing the sidelines of an NFL team.According to Andy Patton of USA Today, Carson is expected to make the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. The former OSU standout was taken in the seventh round of April’s NFL Draft with pick No. 249.After he was drafted, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll had good things to say about Carson.“I really love this guy because he’s so physical and tough the way he ran. You haven’t heard a whole lot about him. He hadn’t run the ball a lot but when he did, he to me made a great statement of his style and a style that we really covet… He’s really aggressive. He hammers it and I think you guys are really going to like him when you see him.”While practice squad players don’t typically see the field, as USA Today’s Patton notes, the Seahawks have a habit of late round picks panning out in the long run.“Expect Carson to have an impact with the Seahawks in the future, but it likely will not be in 2017 unless multiple injuries occur to the current group.”Whatever happens this year, Carson has a chance. Especially if he can continue to make moves like this in the NFL.
